CHANEL FALL 2011 EYEWEAR CAMPAIGN STARRING CLAUDIA SCHIFFER

The Fall 2011 ad campaign hasn't appeared in full yet but Chanel released its eyewear campaign starring Claudia Schiffer. The styles are so so (very very) similar to Karl Lagerfeld's Spring 2011 eyewear collection except for that leather and chain combo that they use in their bags that screams OH SO CHANEL!

The collection is quite boring isn't it?

GAGA IN VERSACE

While GaGa is going on a "Vintage Versace" Tour, she also wore a "Current Versace" look.

She's wearing Versace's January J sunglasses in gold.

With Breaking Dawn coming to theatres, I guess you're all curious who designed Bella Swan's wedding gown? While there are rumours of who designed the gown it is confirmed that is CAROLINA HERRERA. OOOOOH! How safe!!!!!!!! Yes, it's safe! :)

BRITNEY'S FEMME FATALE FASHION

Zaldy Goco? You've heard of him. L.A.M.B. former creative director? He made GaGa's hair outfit for the MonsterBall and also that gold "Egyptian pharaoh" outfit during the first leg of the MonsterBall. He also made Michael Jackson's jackets for his "This Is It" concert. Well, he designed Britney's Femme Fatale outfits and they're good. Not great but good. Loved those purple studded leather jackets and that gold egyptian outfit.

HL: Your first Vogue cover featured jeans paired with a Christian Lacroix jacket. How did this idea, which was so revolutionary at the time, come about? Do you still take inspiration from youth culture? Is there anything happening in street style that you find interesting? AW: It was first and foremost a translation of a European aesthetic for the American consumer. It brought couture to the street and streetwear into Vogue during the era of Madonna's Like A Prayer. It was also a recognition of the importance of personal style in fashion, which has played a role in Vogue ever since.

It's nice that they have a dress inspired by the Spring 2011 collection. It was sad that there were no dresses presented on the runway. :( Would've balanced the overly jacket and shirt collection.
