In honor of Coachella

I don't know if I'll ever attend Coachella. The fact that it's in USA and I'm in the Philippines. But maybe I'll fit right in there. My music taste is all over the place. I can go dance, pop, rock, alternative and I'm loving indie. Not that I'm going hipster, I don't care if people discovered it first. Music is all about sharing. Haha!

Anyway, for "casual Friday" which I turn to "Fashion Fridays," I was inspired by Coachella. Here it is. :)

Be a holy fool with this necklace from Mental. ;)
Tied a bandana wrist band. Simple way of adding edge to your already rocker vibe. Hehe!

HEAT WAVE SUMMER BAZAAR!!

So, as I blogged, we went to the Heat Wave Summer Bazaar at the World Trade Center! It was super stressful to commute! A lot of jeepney rides and goodluck to my dry hair and my oily face! Hahahahaha!

The only salvation was the free entrance from Manila Shopper. Ok...
'Twas great but we were kind of disappointed that there were not a lot of stores. I mean, compared to the other bazaars I've been to and let's not count out Greenhills? :))

Anyway, there were still great selection and I'm not kidding. My sister and I were lusting on 2 bags: A 13k gold satchel worth 7k (we haggled and it was until 6k). :( And the Tory Burch fur-lined satchel worth 8k (We didn't haggle because we just could not afford it.) But... we still got some awesome finds!

I bought a sunglasses ring for Php 50. A chain sunglasses for Php 200. And Paco Rabanne 1 Million Perfume and Chanel Allure Homme Blanche Edition! Super like!

My sister, who is more focused than me, only wanted a bag she can use for school and settled with a polka dot bag which looks very cute at a haggled price (I've become an expert in haggling, by the way)

So.. here are the pics. It was hard to document when you are overwhelmed with the items for sale. If only I were rich....

DAS SHOES (above and below) Aren't they fierce? ;)

Chain sunglasses for Php 200. I couldn't resist! :)))

I didn't know it was summer

Hahaha!
With summer coming, people are wearing light clothes and it feels like (espceially here in the Philippines) layering is not an option.
You might remember the inspiration of this look here. It's the 3rd one.
So it was inspired by Theyskens' Theory Pre-fall 2012.

FRAGRANT UPDATES

Adam Levine, front man for band Maroon 5 and a judge on television’s new hit show The Voice, has announced that he is in the process of developing his first fragrance collection for both men and women which, according to a press release, will “reflect [his] personality and style.”
Debuting in May 2013, the fragrances, which will be called “222″ (representing his lucky number), will retail for $36-$65 and also come in gift sets and more.
To create the line, Levine worked alongside ID Perfumes, the team behind both of Katy Perry’s fragrances, to create a collection that is sure to be a hit. With Levine’s good looks, rock hard yoga-bod, and admirable musical talent, men and women are going to be rushing to their local department store to pick up a bottle of these scents.
According to Ilia Lekach, CEO of ID Perfumes, they are counting on these scents to be best-sellers. She explains, “Adam is a performer with tremendous charisma–both on stage and on TV. Endeavoring to capture that in a bottle has thus far been very exciting, and we’re certain the final products will be even more so.”
For a man who once told Men’s Fitness Magazine, “I like the comfort of Old Spice. I throw on a little deodorant, a little aftershave–I’m telling you, the ladies love the old school musk. Cologne is never a good idea for me. I don’t feel comfortable being a guy that has on cologne, but Old Spice is different because you smell good, but you don’t smell like you’re trying to smell good.” I’m curious to see what his signature scent really is, especially if he’s been anti-cologne until now.

Speaking of fragrance, MADONNA'S TRUTH OR DARE FRAGRANCE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER HERE. (US only)

And now for outfit posts ;)

MEETING DIVINE LEE

She is so divine! Divine Lee was a guest speaker at an ACLE by UP SPECA last January 20, 2011. So I went there despite the fact that my org has an ACLE, I just gotta go there and meet her in person!

I was not disappointed. She was very charming and lights up the room... with her bekiness. "Beki" is a term Filipinos use for gays. Yes, she's all female in form but "beki" in heart! I love her!

She talked about her career and shared tips on how to be successful. Basically, JUST DO IT! She even told us to have a thick face, you won't lose anything from trying. They call you trying hard? Then, try harder! She also shared tips on getting along with a lot of people, make up tips, dealing with negative comments and all that.

She is very hardworking. The girl is a top model, a muse, and a businesswoman for Christ's sake! You go girl. Here are some pics from the talk and my pic with her. IT'S A VERY DARK PIC! :(((( But oh well. I will see her again I promise! :)

I don't know who made her dress but she was wearing an olive green Louboutin "Daffodil" pumps (I think). Haha! While I'm wearing a Mental top, Folded and Hung harem pants, bag from Korea, and shoes from Topshop. :)
