Everyone has their fave sport. Everyone, even me! I prefer watching football. The energy of the players and the crowd is so magnetic. I love it.
Now, whether you plan on watching the game at home or at the stadium, you need to show your team spirit. How? By buying your team or fave player's jersey.
What I love about these are the breathable fabric. I never use it for sports though LOL. But they are a great piece that is versatile and can work in your wardrobe. Yes, I'm talking fashion here people. Hahaha.
Now, here's how I would wear it.
For the jersey, I chose black and the number 88 (double infinity! Emily Thorne from Revenge- much?)
You will see I have 3 options for bottoms:
a. white jeans - the new classic. Ripped at the knees, trendy! Fit: While I love skinny fit, since you're gonna be physical here especially when your team scores a goal, I recommend a slim fit. :D
b. sweatpants - these are coated denim so they look like leather but it breathes unlike leather. :D It's the new cool look.
c. Shorts with meggings- Now I know it sounds silly but think about it. Shorts are comfy as hell and meggings are perfect if you want to hide your legs.
Shoe wise, nothing like good old sneakers. While you might go for your trusty Chucks or Vans, I want to amp it up with these ones from Lacoste. The pattern certainly elevates it from those ordinary sneakers no?
For accessories, obviously you do not want to be wearing a lot. (I'm not a fan of excessorizing too that's why I go for statement ones so one is enough) A baseball cap made from denim (yep! add one style notch above people) and classic Ray-Ban aviators in GREEN MIRRORED LENSES! Yes! That's the one.
Wear this and surely the players will give you their sweaty jersey, not to some girl or kid. LOL.
Now that you know what to wear with your jersey, where will you get your jersey? I suggest you go to Fanatics, they have a huge array with different colors that you just want to buy them all. Click this link http://www.fanatics.com/NFL_Jerseys
Like their Facebook page too(http://www.fanatics.com/NFL_Jerseys)
As always, the best accessory is a smile and a positive attitude. Your team may lose but you certainly won the fashion game! ;)

HIGH STREET AND THE PHILIPPINES
As you have probably heard, read, or seen, H&M opened its doors to Filipino fashionistas. There was huge buzz and a big promotion for this opening.
The big one was that the first customer in line will be guaranteed a 6,000-peso gift certificate while the remaining 200 (or 199) will get gift certificates ranging from P200-P5,000. So all these people camped out hoping to get gift certificates. Imagine, they waited for more than 12 hours (I think the first in line waited for 24 hours). And then, they didn't shower. Imagine the smell (no perfume can hide it!) and they will try out clothes (I am hoping the clothes they tried on and didn't buy were burned? LOL!).
So, I went to H&M on a Saturday. Well, ok it was a Saturday so the fact that it was crowded should be justified. But, I remember when it was still under construction, it looked long, wide, and big. When I went inside it was super cluttered. I am blaming this on poor interior design. It was like there was no space. AT ALL. Also, there was a long line at the fitting room and quite a short line in the cash register (now I know what you're thinking, it takes longer to try out clothes than to pay for it but are you really gonna believe that?).
While we love these foreign brands and aspire for them, what does that say about us? It means we don't dream big enough.
Think about it, H&M is a high street brand. Not high fashion. They sell knock off design (I buy there too so I'm a hypocrite haha!). In other countries. H&M is like your Bench or Penshoppe. Do we aspire for those brands? I'm sure we don't.
Are we Filipinos just knock offs of other countries? Our music industry can vouch for that. Our songs are mostly revivals of foreign hits. Original Pinoy Music (OPM) hardly makes an impact. OPM is not even diverse. When you think of OPM, you think of sad ballads, acoustic, and rock. Is that all the genre there is? We don't have a proper dance genre because we call it novelty. And novelty is looked at as a joke. It will never be played in clubs.
Ask yourself, would you spend P10,000 or more for a Filipino-designed dress? Now, how about we changed that label to Zara? Will you buy it? I'm sure you would. Despite the fact that I'm sure the Filipino-designed one will have a better quality (although design wise, I hope it's not a knock off)
I am hoping for that day when Filipinos go to work abroad to make a name for themselves and not just to earn a quick buck. Filipinos are more amazing than that. We have in ourselves the power to change the world. Instead, we take a backseat and let others do it even though we can do it so much better.
Here's to Filipinos making an impact. It doesn't have to be a big and quick one. You can do it slowly. Take it step by step.

Katy Perry recreates one of the most iconic moment in denim history.
Remember this?
So who did it better? Sorry Katy, I'm still for Godney as I am blessed with the Holy Spearit. :D

Yep! Britney and Justin in matching denim at the 2001 American Music Awards. #iconic #justinbritney5evah a.k.a. The most iconic moment in denim history.
Well, this happened last Sunday at the VMAs.
Katy Perry and a rapper named Riff Raff (yes, first time I heard of him too) wore matching denim. No, they are not in a relationship. And yes, they are wearing Versace. So who did it better? Sorry Katy, I'm still for Godney as I am blessed with the Holy Spearit. :D

Will the real Saint Laurent please stand up?
So I'm sure you know this, but there are 2 Saint Laurent biopics being released this year, one approved by Pierre Barge, YSL's partner and one not.
Let's go with the approved one, this one has access to YSL archives so expect camera shots of the dresses. The story is more of Yves's journey to stardom. It stars Guillaume Galienne as Yves Saint Laurent. Check out the trailer below.
The next one is the unapproved one which is where I'm more excited. Haha! Basically, the hunky Gaspard Ulliel (face of Bleu de Chanel) will be Saint Laurent. I need a naked Gaspard in my life. LOLZ. But the casting is great. Lea Seydoux and mode Aymeline Velade are in the film as well. Nice! Watch the trailer and you'll see why Pierre disapproved of this one. :P

Them Celebrity Lifestyle Bloggers
So, after word got out of Blake Lively's new lifestyle brand, everyone was like, What The Goop? As you know, Gwyneth started it with Goop in 2008 and is now one of the biggest lifestyle brands.
I love Goop. People think it's pretentious but don't we all want the high life and Gwyneth is sharing it with us. Read her posts and watch her interviews, I don't see a change in tone. Basically, she grew up rich. Obviously, she's accustomed to the rich life unlike us who has to work for a living. I like Gwyneth. And that "consciously uncoupling" was smart. Now, everyone is relating that phrase to Gwyneth. Love her or hate her, Goop is here to stay and is the one to beat.
Martha Stewart actually was one of the pioneers but I'm not a craftsy guy so I don't pay attention to it. :)
Another blog/website lifestyle site I read is oliviapalermo.com. I love Olivia Palermo so I love this site. I love her outfit posts and I want her closet and her husband. LOLZ. What's great about Olivia is now she has her own collabs with Westward Leaning and Aquazurra.
Here are 2 other sites, What the Chung by Jamie Chung and Tomboy KC by Kate Cassidy. It's nice to know D-listers also are hopping on this train. Eeeek! Sorry. I love their styles though. :D
Let's go to Blake's site. I get where she's going. It's just that there are 3 problems:
1. THE NAME: Preserve? Really? I think it's too trying hard to be eloquent or deep.
2. THE URL: Preserve.us? You will get more followers if you have a dot com site which is why you don't use the word Preserve.
3. THE LAYOUT: It looks dark. It's not inviting. Change it please. :)
I love the articles, though. They are well written. :)
Oh yeah, Reese Witherspoon will launch one too by 2015 named Draper James. It is her version of Goop. I don't know if I see Reese a style icon. At least Gwyneth had some great fashion moments. But Reese? I don't know. I'm sure she won't write the articles so I hope there are great and affordable selections there.

Trying out them Birks
Let's get this straight, I really detested Birkenstocks. I saw them on someone when I was college and I was like "ewww..." and now they're here and everywhere. I would never try them. Sorry.
But then, Miranda Kerr styled them like this.
And now I wanna try it. I found a cheap replica pair online. And they're in denim. PERFECT! :)
Can't wait to show them. Beware for I have ugly toes. LOLZ!

HIATUS MUCH???
Hi guys.

I swear, I'll update it. The direction for this blog is gonna be more Hollywood celeb obsession than ever. More outfit ID's and some gossip and FASHION FASHION FASHION!

Blake Lively is back with a vengeance!
Blake Lively took time off the spotlight and her stylish run on the red carpet to become a wife to fellow sexy hottie Ryan Reynolds and now she is back!
After a jaw dropping look at the MET Gala, she left us craving for more so she served up eleganza extravaganza at the Cannes Film Festival. She was there for 2 reasons: to support husband Ryan on his film and to represent L'Oreal being one of the brand ambassadors. Let's see her looks.

Blake Lively in Gucci Premiere - Gucci and Blake is a perfect combination. Gucci is known for sexy and Blake can serve sexy and class. Gucci needs that. Anyways, I feel like I've seen this gown before. It looks formulaic but the styling saved it. Blake is just starting.
Blake Lively in Chanel Couture - This was my least favourite but that does not mean it was bad. If only she did not have that shawl. It's the pose that killing me. She's putting her hand in the pockets of the gown and she has a shawl. It gives an awkward pose. But she looked amazing nonetheless, she has got that effortless hair to a tee.
Blake Lively in Gucci Premiere - ELEGANZA EXTRAVAGANZA!!!! yaaaaassss!!!! This bitch served immaculate couture. The consensus was she should've worn this to the MET Gala because it looked like it was inspired by Charles James. I think so too. But I think this is what happened, Frida showed 2 sketches and Anna Wintour (who approves of all looks) chose the gold as this one resembles SJP's Oscar dela Renta dress. But she would've killed it no matter what she wore. Gucci, keep it up on dressing Blake. You have struck gold with her.
So, which one is your favorite? Oh yeah, Blake was shooting a movie and her wardrobe consisted of all Gucci. The movie is Age of Adaline. Can't wait to see it!

MET GALA 2014
The MET Gala or the Anna Wintour Costume Institute Gala will honour forgotten American couturier Charles James. I only knew him when I made some research on the puffer jacket and a gown on a Vogue cover that I really loved.
I honestly couldn't see a lot of info on him unlike other designers like Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, or Yves Saint Laurent. Although, Dior and Balenciaga voiced out their appreciation and love for James' work.
Anyways, here are the attendees (not all) Madonna did not attend (too bad) some delivered, others were meh! and some were just uhm... WTF?
Photo credits: Getty, Huffingtonpost, RCFA, luckymag, sheknows.com, popsugar,
My best dressed were Blake Lively, close second is Karolina Kurkova and third is Zoe Saldana. See the looks below.
Blake Lively in Gucci Premiere - Perfection in all angles! This is super uber glamorous and Blake delivered. She is a great ambassadress for the brand unlike other celebs (cough JLo cough!)

The Search for the Perfect Bag
I have a lot of generic bags. Hahaha. You know, faux leather, designer inspired bags. I have one for Mulberry Alexa, one for Proenza Schouler PS1. I have a duffle and a murse. I also have a Givenchy Parfum duffle bag which was free. I'd like to think it's my first "Designer bag" LOLZ!
Now, I am saving up for a real, legit designer bag. My criteria
1. Big size (I put a lot of things in my bag, ask anyone)
2. Durable (I'm a use and abuse when it comes to bags)
3. Lots of space (I'd like to be organized)
4. Chic and understated (No LV monograms for me)
Now, here are my top 5 and my one I WOULD HAVE TO STARVE TO AFFORD IT
1. Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag
- I was intrigued by the name and when I saw it, it was love at first sight. Affordable and it has a downtown chic look. Lots of pockets and lots of ways to wear it.
Photo from: rebeccaminkoff.com
Price: 550 USD
- I super love that it can look rugged and elegant at the same time. It kinda looks like a briefcase to me. I love its unique opening with the zipper on the side and it opens up. Hehehehe
Photo from: marcjacobs.com
Price: 548 USD
3. Alexander Wang Eugene Satchel
- What do you expect from Alexander Wang bags? Coolness of course! And I love this Eugene satchel. I was contemplating on the Rocco but there are too many fakes and Eugene has not been replicated yet. Hehehehe. I love that it has a lot of pockets and the straps are chain with leather. PURRRRFECTTT!!!
Image from: laprendo.com
Price: 850 USD
4. Proenza Schouler PS1 Large
- There's this ongoing battle between Mulberry Alexa and Proenza Schouler PS1 and for me PS1 wins big time. First, Mulberry has that awful back leather connector on the side where it is attached to a stud that can come off. If it does, it makes your bag look cheap. Also, PS1 has more compartments and the leather feels supple.
Photo from: barneys.com
Price: 1995 USD
THE LOUIS VUITTON SC (SOFIA COPPOLA) BAG
Yaaaassss!!! The ultimate marriage of the Speedy and the Keepall in a chic way. This bag is timeless and LV has recognized that. It is still available. I love the red wine color but would go for black as well. Oh Lord!
Photo from: purseblog.com
Price: starts at 4,295 USD
As you can see, I prefer the black ones because I don't like seeing dirt in my bag. Although for sure, I will have them restored but still.
What are your dream handbags? :)

And the bag I would give an arm and leg (I'll just put the bag in my other arm LOLZ)
5. Givenchy Pandora Bag
- Out of all the Givenchy bags, the Pandora is the one that struck me the most. It looks so cool and unique that I gotta have it. They now come in a box bag which has a sturdier frame but I still prefer my bags slouchy. :)

THE FALL 2014 HIGHLIGHTS
So the Fall 2014 show came and went. And here are the highlights!
1. The streaker at Prabal Gurung - Well Prabal is used to making clothes that show some skin but this... this... I thought it was fun. :)
BONUS; THE ARMANI PRESS CONFERENCE
He blasted everyone even Anna Wintour and Prada. Read more here: http://fashionista.com/2014/02/giorgio-armani-lashes-out-at-anna-wintour-prada-and-others/

1. The streaker at Prabal Gurung - Well Prabal is used to making clothes that show some skin but this... this... I thought it was fun. :)
2. Wang makes everyone go Brooklyn - Yep all major editors a Brooklyn. Must've been a fun trip. But Wang did not disappoint and ended the show with supermodels looking unrecognizable with their hard helmet-like hair dos.
3. Mulberry and Cara Delevingne collaborations - Mulberry has no creative director still so for LFW, they launched the Cara bags which are satchel bags that can be tote bags and backpacks! PERFECT!
4. Moschino x McDonalds - Knowing that Jeremy Scott will be creative director at Moschino, you'll know the clothes will be crazy and indeed it was. McDonalds, Spongebob, and Cheetos made an appearance. And oh yeah, Katy Perry got booed. Search it on Youtube. ;)
5. Roberto Cavalli's ring of fire - His son left the company and no longer designing the menswear line, Roberto called Michael Kors a copycat but there is no denying his Fal 2014 show was on FIRE! Literally!
6. Chanel Supermarket Looting - Yup! Chanel Supermarket, isn't that what recessionista dreams are made of? Unfortunately, this is a one-off. If you weren't invited to the show, you will never taste Coco Milk. Unfortunately, some people went overboard. The announcement was "help yourselves on assorted goods" which means the food but some even got the Welcome mats. They were supposed to be sold for charity. Oh well. It's Chanel.
7. Models Dancing at Stella - Well, it was really Cara, if you look at Joan it feels forced. With Cara it's like, I'm dancing and I don't care. With Joan it's like, I'm dancing so please like me and make me super popular. Geez gurl, get a grip!
8. Anna Wintour seats second row- OH YES! THIS HAPPENED! OH NO THEY DIDN'T! Anna sat second row along with Hamish Bowles. Apparently, Valentino gave limited front row seating to American editors. I'm guessing America is no longer Valentino's market. And Anna gave up her seat for Sara Mower who will review the show for Vogue.com. Expect no Valentino for Vogue US EVER!
9. FREJA BEHA RETURNS AND NICHOLAS GHESQUIERE'S DEBUT COLLECTION FOR LOUIS VUITTON! - I love Nicholas but I hate the fact he went to Vuitton. Why? Because Vuitton is super exclusive and they rarely sell RTW. Unlike with Balenciaga where you can purchase those crazy sweaters and chic jackets on upscale department stores. Usually it's just bags for Vuitton. No matter, the collection was super 60's and was f*cking surprised and excited when Freja Beha opened. She made a rare appearance and damn she looked good. Love you gurl! Now, I'm hoping she will be the face of Vuitton. I remember when she started that she became a major face of Balenciaga under Ghesquiere's reign. Hoping this will continue. And Raf, please get Freja at Dior. You know you love her. #FrejaForever

The 86th Annual Academy Awards
YAASSSS!!! The Oscars finally arrived. I must say, it was quite tame but really there were a lot A LOT of fashion moments! Of course, it's the Oscar's honey!
Metallics ruled the red carpet with a few going for colors but black was still a classic color to wear.
Finally, Lupita earns my best dressed award! Here she is in Prada. And my gosh, Miuccia should be proud of her creation as this is flawless.

Finally, Lupita earns my best dressed award! Here she is in Prada. And my gosh, Miuccia should be proud of her creation as this is flawless.
Whoever took this photo, I LOVE YOU! This just shuts it down.
Viola Davis in Escada - Didn't like this dress at all.
Portia De Rossi in Naeem Khan - I must say I love the details.
Kristen Bell in Cavalli -I'm not a fan of the necklace.
Olivia Wilde in Valentino- Infairness to her, she's the best among the maternity red carpet dressers. What a shame for Kerry Washington.
Liza Minelli in Vintage Halston - Liza put Halston on the map so I guess this is obvious. I kinda like the blue hair.
Anna Kendrick in J Mendel - I must say this dress is busy as hell but I like it.
Amy Adams in Gucci - The tuxedo inspired dress is so gorgeous. She really amped up her fashion game. I'm hoping she gets nominated again next year and finally wins.
Julie Delpy in Jenny Packham - I love Before Sunrise, Before Sunset and I have yet to watch Before Midnight. She looked gorgeous in that gown. Yes, even with those sleeves.
Idina Menzel in Vera Wang- I love her but this dress does nothing for her. It just looks like a repeat of a Zac Posen dress.
Pharell Williams in Lanvin - Yes, he made the short suit happen. And he performed Happy with his infamous Grammy 2014 look, the Adidas jacket + Westwood hat! Love him!
Crissy Teigen in Monique Lhullier- Infair, I like the dress on her. Gurl looks stunning!
Naomi Watts in Calvin Klein collection - I quite like it but it was that Bulgari collar necklace that took it to another level!
GOLDIE HAWN! Hahahaha! Just a shoutout! I love her!
Jared Leto in Saint Laurent- I am finally warming up to his long hair. I just was in love with him his short and tall hair LOL. Deserving win Jared Leto.
Jessica Biel in Chanel Couture - I am quite enchanted with this dress. I'm just not a fan of the ombre hair.
Cate Blanchett in Armani Prive - We always expect the best from Cate and she freakin' did not disappoint! She did not! All hail Queen Cate!
Kerry Washington in Jason Wu - Blech! The wrinkles, the awkward slit. Sorry Kerry. Game over! Just give birth already and give us fashiown!
Sally Hawkins in Valentino - She's in the film Blue Jasmine and her performance was amazing. I love this gown on her.
Matthew Mccougnahey and Camilla Alves in Gabriela Cadena - I'm guessing Matt wore Dolce and Gabbana. He and Jared Leto coordinated on the white suits ha? Congrats you two, gorgeous and talented!
Bette Midler in Reem Acra -Her performance of Wind Beneath my Wings was breathless. Love her still.
Charlize Theron in Dior - I'm shocked that this was Dior. But I must say I like it. It just looked like an improved version of a mermaid gown.
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior - No surprise she wore Dior. I find this to be too boring. And she wore the same style of necklace as last year.
Anne Hathaway in Gucci - I must say this is a big step up from last year's Prada oblivion. She has a new stylist and I love this Gucci gown, quite edgy with that pixie cut as well.
Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace - Kate has been on a roll lately and you can add this to her list of hits!
Julia Roberts in Givenchy couture - Infairness this Givenchy couture creation is stunning.
Emma Watson in Vera Wang - Gurl! You look fine!
Jennifer Garner in Oscar dela Renta - She's not a nominee or something so I guess this is good. She worked the metallic trend.
Sandra Bullock in Alexander McQueen - I love this look! Very regal and that thing that happens in the middle, that knot thing, GENIUS!
Jada Smith in Versace - Versace is in to this scarf trains.
Penelope Cruz in Giambattista Valli couture - She looked effortlessly gorgeous. May masabi lang. hahahaha.
Margot Robbie in Saint Laurent - While I prefer her as a blonde, I love this dress on her. Infairness to Hedi Slimane ha? Go Hedi. I love what you did at Saint Laurent.
Is it me or is Brad Pitt more handsome with that haircut?
Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab Couture - This woman just never fails to impress me. She's got good genes, that's gotta be it.
Meryl Streep in Lanvin - Werk! I love this off shoulder dress on her. So classy!
Lady GaGa in Atelier Versace - I was shocked about her attendance. Anyways, I like this look. But her eyes are weird aren't they? Since when did she become Asian or something?
I cannot end this post with the best selfie/most retweeted photo of all time:
I just can't believe Lupita's brother, that guy beside Bradley Cooper got a lot of coverage in the photo while Jared Leto did not. No, it's not racist. It's the fact that he's not a celeb and Jared Leto took the effort and came from another row just to join the selfie. Really!
