THE 2015 SAG AWARDS

Now, I want to apologize for not posting for a long, long, long, long time. I just have a lot to deal with. More particularly with myself, but that's another story. :)

I'm good don't worry! FASHIOOOOONNNNN!!!! Lol.

Ok, let's get down to business. Yes, I saw the red carpet on the Golden Globes (quite disappointing) and the Critics Choice (nobody really glams it up there.)

My best dressed for the Globes was Emma Stone in that Lanvin jumpsuit. Looks like I've been loving pants on the red carpet as another Emma (Emma Watson) wore pants last year to the Globes. She wore Dior Couture.

Gurl, Emma Stone is on fire. Because she is again my best dressed. It's like Marion Cotillard in 2013. And congrats to her Oscar nom, although people were thinking she robbed Jennifer Aniston of her Oscar nom. I honestly think it should be Reese not included in there. That role of hers felt forced. Like, this is an awards worthy role. It's not doing it out of passion. Sorry.

Anyways, here you go guys.

Disclaimer : Photos are not mine. Got them from Google Images.

This Emma's Golden globes outfit. J'adore!

Emma Stone in Dior Couture - Looks like menswear inspired trends are her MO for this awards season. This is uber chic and effortless. Although, Naomi Watts tripped on her train. But still gorgeous nonetheless.
This was Jennifer Aniston serving menswear realness in Gucci at the Critics Choice Awards. Those boobs though.

Jennifer Anniston in Vintage John Galliano - yes, you read that right (have you seen Galliano's debut collection for Margiela. OBSESSED!) Anyways, I think Jennifer is on a mission to show that natural boobs are the way to go. It sagged but then again, it's the SAG Awards. I applaud her for trying something new. But, of all the Galliano gowns, this is what you pick? I'm sure Galliano has more fiercer gowns than that.
Julie Bowen in Georges Hobeika Couture - I quite like the intricate details. Although, this dress just seems to get lost in the crowd. There's just nothing special about it.
Emmy Rossum in Armani Prive - Another winner! She's my 2nd best dressed. Super elegant and chic. Love it!!
Felicity Jones in Balenciaga - This look disappointed me. In her "The Theory of Everything" promo tour, she wore sartorial choices making me think she would do it again. But this just bores me.
Emilia Clarke in Donna Karan Atelier- Yes! I did do this on purpose. Who did the criss-cross bustier gown better: Felicity or Emilia?
Amanda Peet in J Mendel - Gurl, that bustier I hate.
Julia Roberts in Givenchy - Uhm! I don't like. Just feels off.
Naomi Watts in Balenciaga- Gorgeous! Love the navy color. Gurl always turns it out!
Mayim Bialik in Christian Siriano - Christian did good by combining Mayim's requirement of not showing her shoulders (I think it's a religion thing) and his flare for dramatic gowns. If it were jewel tone, I would've loved it even more!
Sophia Bush in Vivienne Westwood - I love me some Westwood but those hips aren't working for me.
Claire Danes in Marc Jacobs- Love the color, hate the belt. Had this been tailored to make sure the belt wasn't needed, I'd be raving about this.
Camilla Alves in Donna Karan Atelier- Gotta give it to this bitch. She never wants to just be a background. She always turns it up. Love the color, the fit, the rouching details. EVERYTHING!
Rosamund Pike in Dior Couture - Love this! Hate the shoes. So much better than her last outings (especially that white Vera Wang at the Globes!)

Rashida Jones in Emanuel Ungaro - What I love about this look is the print. Seldom do we see bold prints on awards night red carpet and she sold it to me.
Viola Davis in Max Mara - White done right! I'm so confused as to why Amy Adams wore a stupid Max Mara dress at the Critics Choice when she was the face of the brand. They could've given this to her.
Reese Witherspoon in Giorgio Armani - Love this. She can't be drunk with this dress cause of the stains. Great choice ,Reese! LOL!

Lupita Nyong'o in Elie Saab - I'm lukewarm about this. I still love her Giambattista Valli couture look at the Golden Globes even though it was one size too big. Let's go to the Oscars now.
Sarah Hyland in Vera Wang - Gorgeous! Age appropriate yet very elegant.
Gwendoline Christie in Giles - Isn't it nice when you're dating a talented designer? Yes Giles and Gwendoline are together. Hate the hair and the fabric. Those creases are cringe worthy.
Andrea Riseborough in Escada - Hate the skirt. Doesn't give her a great shape.

Natalie Dormer in Naeem Khan - J'ADORE! This was my 3rd best dressed!

Laverne Cox in Johanna Johnson - I love Laverne but this dress is better suited for Miss Universe which was happening at the same time.
Keira Knightley in Erdem - I was expecting more from Keira's pregnancy looks. She's a Chanel, Erdem, Jonathan Saunders girl. But her Chanel look at the Globes was hideous. I wish she would push it further. Only Blake Lively has gotten me happy with maternity style.
Julianna Marguiles in Giambattista Valli couture- Looking at the runway look, the skirt had more form and poof. Unfortunately, it got lost here.
Julianne Moore in Givenchy Couture - Julianne and Givenchy are a match made in heaven. See here silver sequin Givenchy gown with a feathered bottom skirt at the Globes. My 2nd best dressed at the event! She's also a heavenly match in Lanvin and Tom Ford which shows her fashion versatility. This was my 4th. I wish there was something more here but love the green on her red hair. Julianne, your pussy's on fire!
