Saint Laurent Bags

Now, believe it or not, while critics haven't been too keen on Hedi Slimane's collection from Saint Laurent, IT DOESN'T MATTER. According to reports, his collection for Saint Laurent has been flying off the shelves. Yes, they're a hit on retail customers. And I guess that's all that matters, right?

Well, everything has now the Slimane DNA including the handbag. Looking at the new font, we're going to Celine direction. Right?

To be honest, I would buy the bags. Haha! I specifically liked the Du Jour bag (A Birkin ripoff), Classic Duffle, and Betty Bag. Even the old Saint Laurent bags (which still has the "Y") has been added with the new logo. I will still buy the Cabas bag. Hahaha.

With his ready to wear being a hit, I'm sure the handbags will be a hit too. I love it! :)

Kanye West for APC

So, you know that Kanye West released 2 collections during fashion week that weren't well received right? That forced him to stop showing collections. But, never to back down from a fight, he collaborated with Jean Touitou of APC to release a capsule collection and guess what? IT SOLD OUT.

Here's what you should know: APC is known for their minimalist designs. Ok here are the pictures.

A white shirt? Groundbreaking!

Well, these are easy to rip off. I mean, a white shirt, a navy blue shirt? The only thing I liked is that short sleeve hooded sweatshirt. Anyways, let's all move on now! :D

STYLE HERO: TAYLOR TOMASI HILL

I remember first seeing Taylor Tomasi by searching for street style and she popped up with her flaming red hair. Then, she appeared again when I was searching for Norma Kamali Cat eye Sunglasses. She looked gorgeous in it. Ever since then, I've been following her street style. I loved Marie Claire because of her (and Nina Garcia of course!)  Now she is the artistic director of Moda Operandi.
