So, last Monday it was the MET Gala! And I was having a fashion breakdown because of all the great outifts and the hot messes on the red carpet! Basically, I'll do it like the Academy Awards post. Mind you, there are people you may not know so you've been warned! ;)
Rooney Mara in Givenchy Couture - she's been wearing Givenchy a lot lately. I wish she would have a movie wherein she would only wear Givenchy. She's like the dark Audrey Hepburn! ;)
Diana Agron in Carolina Herrera- the color looks good on her
Eva Mendes in Prada- this is a true Prada gown don't you think?
Elizabeth Banks in Mary Katrantzou -Elizabeth Banks is a fashionista. This is a fierce dress. Unfortunately, the dress is for thin people and Elizabeth Banks has meat on her body. That peplum is too severe for normal people.
Kristen Wiig in Stella McCartney - I love how cutesy this is!
Lana del Rey in Altuzarra- if you put Gwyneth Paltrow from Oscars 2012 beside Lana del Rey, you get that good and evil side no?
January Jones in Atelier Versace- So glad for her to be back in her form again. Guess you'll forever be a Versace girl January. It's ok, Versace dresses are gorgeous!
Beyonce in Givenchy Couture - Well this is better than her House of Dereon dress of last year! Ha! But this is amazing and bootylicious!
Leslie Mann in Nina Ricci- I love this dress! I'm just drooling over how heavenly this is!
Marion Cotillard in Dior Couture - This is an amazing dress! I love dresses where the bottom becomes sheer so this is a winner for me!
Jessica Stam in John Galliano for Dior Couture! The fact that this dress is amazing just shows how Dior is now without Galliano! But the hair Jessica! Go back to being a blonde girl!
Marc Jacobs in Commes des Garcons Men- Marc already wore a Commes des Garcons menswear with that pink dress but this one is better. My 2 problems: A sexier boxer shorts ;) and those shoes have got to go!
Stella Tennant in Chanel - I love the simplicity of the dress and that detailing!
Amber Heard in Zac Posen- God she's sex on a stick isn't she? I just wish all those whatever it is on the back was gone!
Anja Rubik in Anthony Vaccarello- ok that hip bone showing isn't sexy. Anna V did it on Grammys and it wasn't sexy! This is not sexy at all.
Carey Mulligan in Prada - The dress code should be Prada because the one of a kind creations are amazing!
Gwyneth Paltrow in Prada- I super love this dress! there's a bit of a fitting problem but that's Prada for ya!
Principal Kirsten Dunst in Rodarte- Nuff said!
Kristen Stewart in Balenciaga- This is such a fashion forward look on such a fashion backward girl.
SJP in Valentino Couture - So the curtains at Valentino headquarters were so ugly but they didn't want to waste it so they made it into a dress and put it on shoes and put it on SJP.
Gisele Bundchen in Givenchy Couture and Tom Brady in Tom Ford - certainly the best dressed couple no?
Coco Rocha in vintage Givenchy Couture - this was once owned by Elizabeth Taylor. It's the hair that's bothering me, really.
Diane Kruger in Prada- This is just simply divine!
Chanel Iman in Tom Ford- great dress on a not so great face.
Karolina Kurkova in Rachel Zoe - hmmm... a supermodel in a metallic dress with a turban, kind of reminds me of something... wait...
Kate Moss in Marc Jacobs MET 2009 - Kate's definitely the winner! So Karolina, try again!
Kate Bosworth in Prada- Another win for a Kate!
Anna Wintour- She's been wearing Chanel couture in the recent years it shocked me to see her in Prada! Well, she do loves Prada and Prada is being honored. But can I just say, she looks great!
Karen Elson and Alexa Chung in Marc Jacobs- amazing dresses! I love Alexa Chung's styling
Kate Upton in Michael Kors- Kate Upton paid $25,000 to attend the MET Gala. Beach please! I've seen better Topshop dresses! and also, hasn't H&M release a budget friendly red carpet dresses? If you didn't have the money, the dresses are just for over $250. The dress, the makeup, HORRIBLE! I don't get why she wore this. She must be high.
Renee Zellwegger in Emilio Pucci- this is Pucci alright very sexy and I must say appropriate looking for Renee.
Bee Shaffer in Erdem - this is Anna Wintour's daughter and she always looks great. She's a fashionista alright!
Scarlett Johansson in Dolce and Gabbana - I actually like this except for the hair.
Nina Dobrev in Donna Karan Atelier- Lovely dress!
Christina Ricci in Thakoon- This looks like a Prada dress no? The dress is gorgeous just not on her. Christina Ricci cannot pull off couture dresses. She just doesn't do any justice to this at all. Please give this to someone who can like Diane Kruger, Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna, even Daphne Guiness
Camilla Belle in Ralph Lauren- she's been doing that 20's vibe long enough. And I don't know what she's famous for.
Cate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen- J'ADORE! Even if she wore that fur whatever-it-is, she would WERK IT!
Florence Welch in Alexander McQueen- STunning dress!!!! She just knows it!
Leighton Meester in Marchesa- This is a miss Leighton. Where was Vera Wang?
Linda Evangelista- Linda was posing all the way to the bank as she is in the midst of a case with billionaire Arnold Pinault, owner of PPR Gucci.
Mary Kate Olsen in The Row- it just doesn't work but I doubt she cares. JUST WORK IT GERL!
Rihanna in Tom Ford- After what Rihanna's been doing on Twitter and Instagram, it shocks me that she covered up with a croc skin gown. Tell me what the hell is happening to her hair!
Victoria Justice in McQ- Young and vibran!
Joan Smalls in Balmain- You all know I'm looking at her date Olivier Rousteing! He's a man candy! Also, she tweeted that "People needs to wear glasses, we can't all look alike" as a respons eto photographer calling her Zoe Saldana. Well, sometimes black girls look alike.
Ashley Greene in Donna Karan Atelier- Very Grecian but super reminds me of Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2011 couture finale dress! Oh well. She looks great though.
